Banana Lime Soft Serve Ice Cream

We were looking for easy recipes and so we got a dessert bullet. Everyone loves using it because it is so se.

Recently we made a quick dessert for the children.


2 ripe bananas

juice from 1/2 lime



Mix bananas and lime juice together. Taste to make sure that it is not too sour for you. If it is you can add a sweetener at this point.

Freeze banana- lime paste in ice tray until completely frozen.

Run the ice cubes through the dessert blender.




Peanut Butter Oat Balls

My children love theses  quick bites. We made some today for our morning snack. Simple, quick, delicious and no cooking!


– 1 cup all natural peanut butter (make sure it is gluten free)

– 1 cup quick cooking gluten free oats

– raisins (shhh. I’m actually not a fan of raisins at all but I know they are good so I try to eat a few here and there)

– 1 tbsp linseed powder (flax meal)


Mix peanut butter, flax meals and raisins together with 1 tbsp oats. Pour remaining oats onto a plate. Spoon a small amount of peanut butter mixture onto the plate of oats and roll them into a ball, pressing to adhere more oats to the ball. Repeat until all the mixture is gone.


Rainbow Ice Cream Cake

My children have bee insisting I make this cake for about a month now and I finally gave in.

i used food dye to colour the ice-cream, which I am not going to use next time. They liked it.

Now for me to get it died the natural way.

Success will mean a new recipe so wish me luck.


Garbanzo Swirl Brownies


2 cups cooked garbanzos

1 cup gluten free quick oats

1 cups cassava flour

1/2 cup oil

1 cup sugar

1 tsp cinnamon, spice,

1/2 tsp nutmeg

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

2 tbsp coco powder.


Mix flours, salt and baking powder together in a bowl. Blend garbanzos. Add spices and sugar and process until creamy. Add olive oil and vanilla extract and Process. Pour mixture in bowl with flours and mix until combined.

Spoon half the batter into another bowl. In this bowl, add the cocoa powder and 1/4 tsp nutmeg. Pour batter in greased baking trashy along with other batter. swirl and bake in a prepared over at 359 for 25 minutes or until an inserted comes our dry.




Strawberry Mango Sorbet

4 frozen strawberries

1 cup frozen mango

1/4 cup 100% white grape juice. I used white grape because this is all I had in the fridge.


let me first say that I have a cheap blender but it works for me. So I have to add liquid in order for the blender to work.

Place frozen fruit in blender. Add half of the liquid and blend. slowly add remaining liquid while blending. You might have to stop and give the mixture a stir to dislodge any pieces of fruit before continuing to blend.

Blend until smooth.
