Candied Sweet Potato Hash

1/4 cup brown sugar

2 tbsp oil ( I used grapeseed)

2 tsp tumeric powder

1 tsp oregano

1 tsp marjoram

1 tsp parsley flakes

2 tsp salt (or salt to taste)

2 large sweet potatoes peel and diced

2 cups water


I a saucepan pour oil and sugar and heat until sugar begins to turn golden brown. Toss in the sweet potato and stir until the are completely covered. Add the other seasonings and the water and cover. Cook until potatoes are soft, then remove lid and cook until most of the liquid dries out.
